Homicidal was the creation of gimmick-master William Castle, who gave us the original versions of House on Haunted Hill and 13 Ghosts, as well as The Tingler. Homicidal was his answer to Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho. Filmed in black-and-white, it's a psychological shocker about a strange young nurse, an invalid mute, a meek young man and murder most foul.
Leonard Maltin's Movie Guide gives it a 2 1/2 star rating, and if it were released today, would probably get at least a PG rating.
I saw this when it was first released, and was very creeped out by it. Although not as fun as the three Castle productions named above, it's worth a watch, if your nerves are up for it.
