Nothing is more valuable then "on the job experiance". It will teach you things you can't learn in design or art schools. Find someone who is doing what you love to do and ask to intern for a week or so to see how things really work. It's surprizing what you might find out.

Why dont you consider becoming a fashion photographer. In this manner you sort of will enjoy the best of both worlds.

Go to college and learn clothing design and textiles...or photography/journalism. There are numerous scholarships and grants so you can go for free. PELL GRANT
