Depends on the processor, if we're talking single core it's not so good. However if you mean the dual core it's like having two 1.6 Ghz = 3.2 Ghz and that would be quite fast. Still need a good graphic card though. Hope this helps.

If it's not Dual core then that's pretty slow. And that's only one part that you need to look at for gaming. Any more you need to have a graphics card with 256 or more vRAM. 1-2 Gbs of RAM and a processor that's either dual core at about 1.6 GHz or normal at around 3.o GHz or higher.

If you mean the speed of your processor is good for gaming...
There are other factors that affect gaming more than processor speed - the main ones being graphics card and RAM.

Also, it depends what games you want to play!

The best way is to check the recommended specs on the back of the game box - don't use the minimum ones, it won't run so well.

For the newest games no. If you have a shop bought computer with 1.6ghz proccessor it is likely to have a pretty poor graphics card and not a lot of RAM.

that would be(in spanish) asi-asi(not bad, not great) ive got a 2.0 GHZ, so mine goes wicked fast, but yours is OK. imean, if u wanted to play somthing like Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, it would slow to a crawl, but something like Red Ace: Master of the Skies would run fine.
