I think the current US coaching staff has made the appropriate changes and maneuvers to make the team a world contender. Past games have always been exciting, so it's tough to guess.

Bob Bradley has done wonders with the USMNT. Posting a 10-0-1 record along the way, the current team looks significantly better than the squad from Germany 2006. Landon is in top form, DaMarcus is playing well and a handful of newbies are controlling the ball. Teenage coach's son Michael Bradley, Benny Feilhaber and Taylor Twellman are playing great soccer right now. The US, however, has not finished on A LOT of scoring chances thus far in the tournament. I watched the USA v Guatemala game in person and saw the US buckle a little bit under the pressure of a hostile crowd. Mexico is going to have a HUGE fan gathering at this game, but emotions will run deep for both sides. Look for Oswaldo Sanchez and Eddie Johnson to continue their rivalry, but in the end, the USA's athleticism and speed gets the best of Mexico 2-0.

well Hugo S. finally found two players that can create a lot of trouble to the other team...Bofo and Cuau. So I think that this game is going to be a very close one. And the U.S still hasn't played against Nery Castillo. Mexico would need Rafa Marquez back in the starting defense. Omar Bravo would neep to play instead of Borgetti. But we'll have to wait until Sunday to see what happens. Go Mexico!!!

USA 3 - Mexico 1
The U.S squad has been playing some of their best soccer in a long time. They have gotten them selves many chances to score goals and so far they have capitalized. Mexico on the other hand has barely been getting by their opponents. It will be a good match but the U.S squad will pull it out

Because the field will be bad, the ref will be biased, the US team will be lucky, and Mexico will have totally outplayed the US but were just unable to score their chances. The score will have nothing to do with the fact that Mexico doesn't realize the Americans score on counterattacks and so it doesn't matter if they never build a good traditional ball control attack.

I think it will be U.S. 2- Mexico 0 because USA has been playing better and they have more technique.

Since the sponsors, news media, home supporters and Mexicans (thanks to a glaring and ignorant mistake by the Mexican referee to rob Canada in the semis)) have got the final they all wanted...I don't really care who wins, but forecast a packed Stadium, lots of cheering and American patriotism, cheerleaders, military bands, F-15's flypast, best wishes from Bushy George....and a 3-2 win for Mexico!

My predicition is for an extremely physical, athletic, probably ugly game, with neither team establishing much rhythm or tempo. I wouldn't be surprised to see it go into extra time still tied at 0-0, and maybe even decided on PK's. Let's hope I'm wrong.
