No theres girl love and boy love! See how stupid that sounds.... ether way love is one of the most misinterpet symbols man has every turn to word. Understand love is an emotion, but what we feel as true love is a phonemana of feelings, driven by love as an emotion. So really in order to anser your question you'd have to know the difference between the emotion of love, and the phonemana of love. But I'll make it easy on you and just say its different for everyone because its based on our own personal experience, or own individuality. So like a rainstorm, they all rain, but the amount of rain, weather theres hail, how long it last, is it reoccuring, comes down to the individual. So we all see each other in a mental storm when were in love, but non of us can know how that storm is effecting each individual. Also stay away from putting people into the gender cateogory. The difference is fundementally all physical, so stay away from associating it with the mental tell you can understand better how individual experience influence, general instinct. Or in other words, if you lived your whole life with a virginal how much different do you think you'd be or vice versa, the funny thing is not very. It really comes down to a pride difference not really an emotional/mental difference but leave it to society to make one....
