IF- and i mean if....KB24 come back next season, just IF! if your in staples for home opener, are you booing when his name is announced? i have a huuuuge kobe fan, have been since about '97 (before that eddie jones was my man) but EVEN i think he has gon the wrong way about asking out of the lakers this time. My main beef with it is that he is leaving phil jackson stranded! and without phil the lakers wud have probs been in the greg oden sweepstakes right now. so, will you be booing kobe at staples? i havnt made up my mind yet.....

Im pretty sure around 20% come to just get drunk, and about 5% just because there 'PR' guys tell 'em too, but i think the vast majority go to see the LAKERS, i know i will.

No I'm not going to boo him, but if he is traded then yes I will be the loudest one, its hard defending his @ss on here everyday, but I'm a Laker fan for life, so whoever wears that Purple & Gold is who I will cheer for.

I would be booing too. I love the guy but this is a slap in the face to all of us Lakers fans. It's too much. This stuff should be going on behind the scenes, not in public like he's going about it. He's handling this very unprofessionally and it'd take a lot to win back the full respect of the fans.

Bulls Fan here, Not a big Kobe fan, but you have to respect his game, one of the all time greats, but I think he made a mistake going public.

This will hurt the Lakers chances for get max value for him, whenever teams know that a player has burned his bridges, they tend to low ball.

I'd like to see him stay in the West (for obvious reasons) also I dont think he would fit in with Paxon/Skiles, too old school.

I really dont think he would get booed that much in L.A. I think a lot of fans would agree that the Lakers didnt give him a lot to work with, and he's been so great for so long.

No I'm not booing Kobe. Without Kobe the team would suck it up.
Also like 40% of the fans come to Lakers games just to see Kobe.

I never liked booing a player on the home team. Im here to watch a game, I don't care what goes on off the court.

I agree completely with xxlilnixx...Dont boo the man on his own court. This is the time when he needs to be supported most.
