As a musician, I know a lot of other musicians. I wouldn't mind saying that I am THEIR friend, but I don't know enough of them well enough to say so publicly. I'm in a bit of weird boat here because of me being a musician - it is a kind of an "in" that I might not have otherwise. I've got some very unusual "connections" to the music business, but that doesn't mean I go over to their house for a barbecue on the weekends either. A better description would probably be "acquaintance". Oh... and I'm trying to be blues-rock star myself... will you be one of my fans? :)
Also, my niece is an actress, so I might soon be able to claim that I know a movie star - she's been on "CSI: Las Vegas", and is a stand-in for "The Ghost Whisperer". She also did some work on a CD, but I'm not quite sure what - I'll have to check!

Enh, I partied with Deron Miller and Jess Margera from CKY when they were in Madison a couple years back. Deron's killer line was "Drinks are on me--I got a million bucks!"

I've met some. I knew Pantara before they were famous. They were playing battle of the bands with a band I was associated with. So we were always with them.

Sure - but they don't consider themselves "Stars". They're famous but they really aren't different from you or me or anyone reading this.
