Talk about a letdown- one of the weakest SG1 episodes ever.... It started off great, then slowly died a horrible time-dilated death.
Too bad, because I was hoping for a big finish. Stargate SG1 has been one the most entertaining Sci-Fi shows during it's 10-year run, and last week's episode had everything set up for a big series-ending showdown!! Instead we got... well, nothing but boredom. If not for Vala & Daniel it would have been unwatchable.
No closure to the Orii situation (what, we're taking Baal's word for it?) No follow-up on Adria (HELLO- possibly the most significant event in a year transpired last week), worst of all, no cameo from O'Neil or Hammond?!!? Just criminal.
Guess I can't blame them- if I were Don Davis or Richard Dean Anderson, I'd have stayed FAR, FAR away from this turkey of a script.
I'm gonna have to consider "200" as the REAL ending to SG1. THAT was the way to end a series!!!

I and my dad combined have every stargate dvd ever released, but we do not have cable. My solution to this is to go to my local YMCA and watch it on one of their cable TV treadmills, which I did. IT WAS AWESOME!!! I can't wait to buy SG-1 Season 10 in July, Atlantis Season 3 in September and the two new SG-1 movies this fall! Then, there will be an Atlantis Season 4, the first season of a new show called Stargate Universe...

I'll be watching it. My whole family will. We are hardcore Stargate fans and have seen every episode (except tonight's fo course) at least twice. Some we have seen ten times. We own all nine seasons that are out and will get season ten soon.
Today is a day of great sadness. We lament for the end of a great era. At least we still have SGA and the movies to look forward to....

It was a great episode, IMHO. When I heard about the basic premise for the episode, I could only think of the fiasco that was "These are the voyages" (Star Trek Enterprise), but these guys did it extremely well. That was a fitting end to a great show.
