Recently we've been averaging around 2,000 posts/month, but we've broken the 3,000 post mark a few times. We are represented by many different professional industries, including Advertising, Internet Technology, Law, Education, Engineering, and Death Care. When we aren't in the midst of new business conceptualization discussions, we use the group as a diversion from our workdays, discussing anything from Sports and Leisure to Arts and Entertainment to Food and Drink. Political Talk has fallen off quite a bit, as it infuriates more than it alleviates.

Two questions

(1) What is your group called? Without supplying this information your claim is meaningless. It's like me saying that "some schools have over 1000 computers". So what.

(2) What is "Death Care"?

"sounds like 20 people without a life to me."

More of a life than someone who took the time to provide that lame-a$$ed response. Unless you're still in junior high, I'd recommend upgrading your put-down list a bit.

Whoa, you the man! The only online group I was involved in with a lot of posts (not Yahoo) was when I played EverQuest. The chat sites were enormous, indeed.
