Has ayone here seen Evan Almighty? Was it an good? Critics gave it bad reviews, but should i still see it?

My whole family loved it. Sure, it isn't a movie that's going to raise anyone's IQ, but it is a fun, cute family movie. I don't understand all the bad reviews....of course there are plot holes and it's kind of silly...but it's still funny and has great entertainment value.

it's about evan baxter he wants to change the world so one night he prays for god to help him then the next day his alarm wakes him up at 6:14am instead of 7:14am and he doesnt no whats going on then out of nowhere a whole bunch of gopherwood gets delivered to him then later god says he has to build an ark then later on he does then later on after that he starts growing big beard amd longer hair then after a while it his beard and hair is all white so he looks like Noah.
i'd rate it 3 out of 5. decent.

Evan Almighty is HILARIOUS!!! Even better than Bruce Almighty! I give Evan Almighty 4 **stars**! Go see it you won't be disappointed trust me!! ;)

If you liked Bruce Alimighty, you will like Evan Almighty. Very funny, feel-good movie

I really enjoyed it. Its funny and it leaves you feeling good. Much better than the first one. I don't understand the bad reviews. Did they even watch it?

Its funny. and it is that type of movie like corny and lame but then steve carell makes it funny. idk if u would like it after you saw bruce almighty. bruce almighty was funny and evan almighty is too, just not as funny as the first one...but i still think u should see it. : )

i loved this movie!!! i saw the premiere on wednesday night! :) so funny! great movie .. critics asked on way out what i thought so i gave it a 2 animaols up and a pair of thumbs... get it like noah's ark he loaded like 2 of every animal... :) go see thi smovie!

I saw this movie last night and i thought it was worth my $5.50. It was funny just like bruce almighty. go see it

Yes, I saw it a few days ago and I thought it was good. It was a cute movie with a good story, so yes, go see it.
