i know I'm gonna sound like a hopeless romantic which i totally am...but yeah i think its so possible...whenever i meet someone i always have some feeling about them and some people when you meet them you just feel like i need to have that person in my life...i think it happens with love too maybe its our six sense telling us something i don't know my x boyfriend as soon as i saw him...i felt i needed to know him...whatever it took...and i could feel the love we would have even before we had it...!!! you know you dream of this perfect person all your life and you think about...especially woman do...and every once in a while God helps out he puts us in the right place with the right person and that's when you know that you're meant to be with that person even if you just bumped into them... you have a feeling which is so strong and so undeniable and it all feels right.!! one of my best friends told me when she met her husband the first time on there blind date she just felt a connection like they knew each other and had talked for hours and hours before...and he was all that she wanted....when they had only just met..!! so i believe that.. love doesn't continue as we find someone it exist within us from forever...its the same love that's been in us that's transformed and is given a face and name to love...that's all... PS i love that song it just makes me feel all warm and cuddly..!!

I can recalll when the song hit the air waves.
It's that kind of ;
Grab ya, Feel good, Sing Along Kind of Song.
So, I sang along each and every time I heard it and still do.
In answer to your question.
From the first time I heard it,
I felt a connection to the words.
I felt truth in them .
I have met some one through Yahoo 360,
( where by the way my profile is LUCKY, (becasue I am)).
Late :NOV06/DECO6
He, and I connected and to recall how it manifested into what its become...well it feels like the best thing that ever happened to me.
Fast forward: 360 connections...E-mails that turned into Instant Messaging..
In which I'd get excited and happy behind words .
Still months later when I see he's online and has sent me an IM. hmmmmmmmmm very nice feeling over comes me..
A rush...
And, when I , IM him back and I see his name appear at the bottom of the screen , almost too quick to believe ...well if I died right then & there I'd be the happiest camper.
Im's--- turned into telephone calls.
Of which I've never kept track of the time...
He's meticulous and informed me month to month..of just how many hours we've spent talking..when he mentioned 70 hours well I still didn't quite get it
Until; further reflection one day-
When I realized this...
70 hours is almost 3 full days.
Who ever said men don't talk much?
I can NOT hear him enough.
The sound of his voice sends me.
He has told me stories about his life that made me laugh so hard I honestly could not stop laughing !
Seriously, I'm 50 years old and I have never laughed as hard in my entire life as I have with him.
I've actaully gone to a zone I 'd never felt be4, and quite honestly did not know existed.
So, the phone calls led to picture exchanges and deeper feelings of intimacy & trust.
A freindship was born.
Yes, I've never met this man in the REAL WORLD, but I love him like no other before.
And, if i ever stopped loving him I know it would be the stupiest thing I could ever do.
Loving him makes me feel sooooo good!
July 1st ..
9 short days....
He will be flying into to my home state of California. How LUCKY am I?
I can only speak for myself...
But yes it is possible to love someone before you meet them.
Now, granted pessimists might chime in and say...ahhhh yes...but can you love that person AFTER you meet them.
Well, again all I can tell you is my experience .
Y*E*S*!
I plan on loving him as long as he'll let me.
I've got the perfect package.
An intelligent, smart, funny, hard wrking man.
Successful, kind gentleman, who gets it that I'm a strong, sexy, intelligent woman who was waiting for a guy just like him.
The best part?
He's one of a kind...
And, we both know it.
Great question Lucky!
Lastly, I hope every woman can feel as lucky as I do to have met a wonderful, soulFULL, sexy man who makes me sooooo very happy.
And, brings out all the love in my heart.
Jim...If you're reading this...
I KNOW I LOVE YOU.
And, I'm looking forward to;
Meeting you on;
July 1st.--- San Francisco Airport ! :) xoxoxo

I think that there can definitely be a mutual raw, immediate, heart racing attraction upon the first glance of a person. However, to actually truly be in love, I think you would have to meet them and get to know them. Love involves communication, respect, kindness, compromise, trust, honesty, understanding, compassion, willingness to forgive, and so much more. It would be hard to determine if a person was capable of all of those things without actually getting to know them. There are a slew of questions that come along too. What do they like? dislike? What are their hopes and dreams? Fears and insecurities? Their bad habits? Do we share some of the same goals? All of these are questions that requires some time to find the answers to. In my opinion, if you find the love you have been hoping and dreaming about since you were a little girl, then the time spent learning these things is not only part of the fun, but well worth it.

Long Answer:
I think so, but this solely depends on if you really know what you want and are looking for in a mate. If you are just kind of stumbling around hoping someone will flop down on your lap and you guys will fall in love, then no.
I figure, if you have a pretty set standard, and then you meet someone who pretty much sums what you are looking for, PLUS they do it with style, charisma, and humor, then you're set! It's kind of like going to buy a pair of shoes, then looking in every department store to find the shoes that you have in mind, only to come across a pair of shoes that are not only exactly what you are looking for, but they fit comfortably, they are not too expensive, and you get 50% off the matching purse! How sweet is that? I know I'd be in love. :)

Short Answer:
Heck yeah! as long as you know what you are looking for.

You can IM with a person for a while, correspond via e-mail, or even back and forth commenting on myspace.
The more you communicate with a person, you can develop
a desire, a want, a need for the other. You can think you are in love, but you are really not, until you are with that person and find out for sure. All other means are superficial.

Nope sorry I dont believe in that. I think that you have to be able to know and trust the person before you know you love them. There are a few exceptions like when parents have a new baby-- they know that they love the baby before they accually know it. Otherwise, I think it might be possible for some people but I dont believe it myself.

That's one of my favorite songs, and it's one of the ringtones that I use.

It just means that the new love has all the attributes you've dreamed that your significant other would have. Therefore, when you meet them, you feel like you've "dreamed them into life" and loved them before you met them.

Yes, it's possible.

I guess it is, because you know that you would have to love the one you're going to marry someday, and you may or may not have met that person yet.
So yes, it could be true, but in a kind of round-a-bout way.

if you have this perfect mate dreamed up there is bound to be someone in this world just like you imagined ( if it is realistic). So you love this person before you have ever met them.
