do ppl in da uk play ball at a collegiate level like da ncaa ?

No they don't, but scouts are all over the world trying to find the best players, Soccor is bigger over there than basketball, although John Amechi is from England along with Ben Gorden.

Yeah they play basketball at University level. They play in the BUSA (british universities sports association) league. If a player is good enough then he is selected for the University 1st team. If the team is associated with a BBL team then uni players may transition to a BBL team.
