Gerald Ford.
He ended up becoming the President when Nixon was forced to resign. And he might've been a lousy golfer, but he wasn't really clumsy. The press took one clip of him bumping his head and played it over and over and over. Very unfair. I'm not sure how effective he was as a leader, but I understood he was a kind thoughtful man.
Note to Ida: Gore lost the 2000 election even though he tried every form of voter fraud in history to get it overturned. He suppressed the military vote and sued to force dozens of recounts that never came in his favor. You should start trying to discover facts instead of spreading falsehoods. That guy is a loser and always will be. He was voted as the most idiotic vice president in history, but that's the only thing he won that wasn't paid for by his rich corrupt daddy.

I'd say Gerald Ford, but he was the president who saved our collective self-esteem after we elected Richard Nixon and Spiro Agnew.
For someone who never wanted to be president, but served because it was his job after all our 'trusted' non-doof, good golfing plane entering elected leaders were exposed to be crooks and law-breakers, Gerald was amazing.
More people should answer the call to duty.
