a baby pool filled with spiked punch?
jello mold (shots)
pour beer on the hamburgers and ribs
white wine in the potato salad (instead of vinegar)
deviled eggs with Cajun instead of paprica (makes ya thirsty)
wine by the box (cheaper)
fruit margarita salad(soak those cherries in rum for a week)
chocolate cake with baileys pudding , and amaretto frosting
put away all your breakables for this party, lol

marinate the meat a day ahead of time and make some good drinks. Ask people to bring a small dish to pass. Get a cooler and LOTS of ice ready. Don't forget the snacks! A great easy cheap yummy dip is one can of Hormel chili mixed with a block of cream cheese microwaved for like 3 minutes. Serve with tortilla chips.

hobo packs. (foil packs)
put various veggies like zuchinni, green onion, garlic, fresh tomato, and yellow squash in a foil packet with a couple thick slices of bacon, jalapeno optional, salt and pepper thouroughly.
wrap well with foil. make one serving size packet for each guest. cook until very very well done.
OMG your guests will rave about this! its the best thing ever to compliment your meats and side dishes.
for the boozy part, search online for ideas for a "signature" drink. something citrus/minty would be great.

Spiked lemonade is my favorite at a "boozy BBQ." Also, have lots of food: hotdogs, hamburgers, chips and salsa, desserts...tons of food and alcohol will be great.
Make sure you have beer, gin, and vodka options for the drinks...some of my friends say gin is The Summer Alcohol of Choice. :)

A lot of different beverages and foods. Try having steaks, chicken, hot dogs/brats, burgers, and salmon. You can also do corn on the cob on the grill. Provide chips and snacks. My friends love my BBQ's and this is what I normally do.

Get a big watermelon and let it soak up a bottle of vodka. Just poke a hole in it and let the booze in. Roll it around to make sure you have even distribution. Tastes really good.
