Hey....where's Antonio Inoki, one of the pioneers of MMA and one of the founding fathers of New Japan?
Oh well....on that list, I think two of the most Important are Gorgeous George (Where do you think Flair and HHH get their gimmicks?) and Vince Jr. (Love him or hate him, he revolutionized the biz).

The Mcmahons without a doubt.
Followed by wrestlers like Stone Cold, HHH, Taker and The Rock because they saved it. And Flair as an honorable mention.
I don't know why people say Hulk Hogan. As much as he did for the company he also almost destroyed it. That's where wrestlers like Triple H came in.
As for Cena, you just know some fanboy is going to come and vote for him.

well...you got to give credit where credit is due...vince macmahon sr. and jr.,both took the wwwf/wwf/wwe from a regional tenure to the world wide stage. Hulk Hogan certainly put professional wrestling on the map as far as opening doors for future superstars. And let's not forget the families in the business....the Funks, the Guerreros, the Von Erichs, the Ortons etc., they were also important as well.

As far as icons go, you need look no further than Hulk Hogan. He wasn't the greatest wrestler or even that wonderful on the mic, but he clicked with the crowds more than any other wrestler in history. That's what makes him so great.
