What do you think being a nudist entails, exactly? It's hard to tell from your question.

If you're doing everyday nonsexual things in the nude, then you're already a nudist, more or less. There's not much more to it than that.

If you want to take the next step and experience social nudism at a beach or resort, then I'd say go for it. If you like being nude at home, you'll probably like it socially as well.

The main benefit to it is just that it's more comfortable and relaxing to be nude. It certainly makes a difference while swimming, and as you mention, there are no tan lines. Social nudism also teaches you to be comfortable with the body you have as well as gain a realistic idea of what other people look like nude, as opposed to images of the human body presented by the media and porn.

Right now, you're what's called a "closet nudist." The next step for you is to try out any nude beaches, nudist groups and parks in your area.

It's a very relaxing lifestyle. The people are genuinely nice. We do still have to wear clothes at times, but you'll have that peace of mind that there are others who believe like you do: that it's natural to be naked.

Nudism is about freedom. You should definitely do it if you enjoy being nude. Become part of the community. There is lots of places on the internet where you can go so you can research nudists in your area. Meet up with them and see if you like the lifestyle.

There is a big difference between being nude in your home and being nude out-of-doors with other people.

Are you that much of an exhibitionist that you want people to look at you nude? Nudist resorts are "non-sexual" in nature.

But if you want to try it - I say - GO FOR IT.

I'm no Nudist, but if you think being nude 24/7 is your thing go for it. I mean I'd think it'd be awkward if I had a couple of friends over and I was nude...but that's just me. You be who you wanna be. If you think being nude you could express yourself that's great, just do your thing and you'll be fine!

If you are over 50, overweight, with a face like a slapped gorilla then no.

Use your head to decide what you want to do with your body. Sounds like you want to at least try it.

Another benefit would be that you spend less on clothes. And it would just be fun! Naked is good!
