The angles of a square are all 90 degrees, so 2x + 45 = 90

x = 22.5

Assuming the vertices are labelled clockwise, then angle FCD is one of the corners of the square making it a 90 degree angle: 90=2x+45 --> 45=2x ---> x=22.5 degrees.

Friend, we all know that each angle in a square is 90 degrees or Pie/2.
Since FCD of the square CDEF is one of its angles. Therefore, So,
90=2x+45
2x=45
x=22.5 ANS.

Each angle in a square = 90

So...
90 = 2x + 45
45 = 2x
22.5 = x
