Death Threats?

I have just recieved a death threat Email though Yahoo e.mail Need some suggestions on what to do.

I have the Information regarding IP addy and sender. I thought about going to the police as I find this sort of thing unsettling. the worse thing is they have used my propper name.

Internet Threats are punishable by law, although its usually not that serious, i would block that person, and change some passwords.

I say change your e mail address completly. Try a hotmail address. Then print the email and talk to the police. Safe guard all your info. Shred anything important. Who knows what else that have about you. Be cautious about using the internet even if you do e bay and such. Check your credit report from annualcreditreport.com. Its a shot in the dark, but they could have more info about you than you think. Place a fraud alert on all credit beaurus. This will stop people from using your ss# about you. I would take these precautions. You could never be to careful these days, especially with all the fraud, identity theft and such.

That is a new type of spam...it's usually worthless, but just to be sure contact the police with the information you got.

Go to the cops if you havent done anything wrong..the least charge they can press is "terroristic threats"....if you did do something wrong with or to them then go whoop their heads boy!

delete it and ignore I would also block there email address
