I'm currently doing Physics,Mathematics and Chemistry for my A-level.I'm not the brightest kid in the class-infact I'm just avarage but I would really like to work for NASA.Am I taking the right subjects?

yup..sounds like a future NASA employee to me ! well it also depends what part of NASA u would like to work in...for instance to be an astronaut u must be some type of naval importance....have masters in physics..chem..and mathmatics...those are the 3 brothers! they work hand in hand in the aeronautical field...

Depends on what you want to do.
Go here and read;

Contact them "Now" and ask. It may look good to express interest now and show you willing to study what they need and look for, as far as, future goals at NASA.
Example; They plan an Outpost on the moon. If, you were interested in this. Then you ask, what would be the most needed areas of study that you would need to provide a versatile support to this area.

Honestly it all depends what they are going to be needing at the time you get out of school. Check with them to see what they need now and what they project they will need. You didn't say how long you have left in school or what level, Bachelor, Masters, Doctorate.

Yeah, concentrate on your physics basically fluids and dynamics......... at your higher studies when you'll take aerospace/aeronautical engineering it would help a lot.............
