Terrorism is the intimidation and dominance over others through the use of brutality, force or mass murder. Among the five greatest 'terrorists' in the past seventy-five years, consider this:
* Joseph Stalin slaughtered 10 million of his countrymen and died peacefully in his sleep;
* Adolph Hitler gassed 6 million Jews and killed himself before being brought to justice for crimes against humanity;
* Idi Amin killed 2 million people in Uganda and retired in luxurious exile;
* Saddam Hussein massacred more than a million Iraqis and was hanged by a 'new' Iraqi puppet government installed by the Bush administration;
* George W. Bush has been responsible for the deaths of 675,000 Iraqis and 3,500 U.S. soldiers, and has yet to be held accountable for those crimes.
Insane, demonic leaders, all.
Terrorists, all.
But, in the case of George W. Bush, we in this nation don't want to be compelled by the reasons of a madman, so we call him 'Commander-In-Chief' and bow respectfully to his position as 'President' when - in fact - he is nothing more or less of a mass murderer than the four other despotic evil-doers who put power and war profiteering above any modicum of human decency.
