Just about any brand of memory is good, unless you're a die hard gamer and need the best of the best. Kingston makes good memory that is not too expensive and great for regular consumers. You just have to make sure that the memory you get is "PC2-3200" memory. It might be listed as
400mHz DDR2." The most memory you can put in your laptop is 2gb. 1gb should be okay for you if you are running Windows XP. If you have Windows Vista, you might want to think about going with the full 2gb because Vista uses much more memory. Hope that helps!

Kingston is ok, but dont go for whatever is cheapest. If you can get a guarntee or warranty, I'd say go for it. If you plan on gaming, I would recomend getting at least 1.5 gb of ram, because the games are so complicated now. Make sure you have a worthwhile processor as well. You cant just add RAM to a normal computer to make it a gaming machine.

is the memory u need.. depends on what u run, xp or vista?
as for gaming again depends on the gfx card onboard also what games your gonna be playing. even if you have a fair pc and the gfx card isn't up to much, won't help much.

It takes DDR2 PC2-4200 RAM. It supports 1GB per slot and has 2 slots. 1GB is usually fine (unless you are running Vista, in which case I recommend 2GB).
