I spent ages looking for my glasses when they on my head all along - doh?!

Oh my God yes! My earliest memory of this phenomenon was when I was 4 years old, I tore the house apart looking for a specific yellow lego and threw an absolute hissy fit. I then realized it was in my hand.
Since then, this happens to me on a fairly regular basis. You would think I would learn (not to play with yellow legos at age 36).

Yes, I was a little tipsy, I was looking all over for the remote to the TV and I was holding it. Duhhh!!

Only once when I'd had too much to drink, and to be fair, it was hidden. It was my handbag, with I'd slung over my shoulder and then put my coat on top of.
