I don't have to, oddly enough as hair never really did grow on my legs. I had a couple high fevers (over 105) as a child and as a teenager, I noticed that my leg hair grew finer and blonder until it was practically nonexisitant.
As for other Lesbians, my Partner (of 26 years) does shave hers and for others it would be a personal choice. If other choose not to, that again is their choice. Men don't have to, so why do we? Men can walk around with (gack) furry backs and no t-shirts on (or worse, with the hair pushing through)
Shaved or not, hair does NOT define a person. You are who you are by your own charecter not by protein growing out of a follicle.
Blessings, my dear child.

Some shave, wax, or epilate, some don't do anything at all. In the same way, straight women may shave, wax, epilate or just leave their hair to grow. It depends on how fussy they are about their leg hair. Some more feminist women (straight or gay) don't shave because they want to make a sort of statement. I don't tend to shave, partly for this reason, but mostly just because I don't need to because I wear jeans all the time, so no one sees my legs.

No. We prefer to run around like hairy bush women and grunt all of our communications to each other.
Get a grip.
We are women. SOME women shave there legs. SOME don't. I shave my legs & underarms every single week. I'm a lesbian. It has nothing to do with sexual orientation.

Why is your question pointed mainly at a specific group of people? That's a really annoying question, but I'll answer. People shave their legs because they feel like it. Doesn't matter what their race or sexuality is, if they want to they'll shave their legs.

Yeah. We're women too! I don't shave my legs since hair never grew on them. I guess i'm lucky. But as far as the rest of us, I'm sure they do. As a matter of fact, I've watched my girlfriend shave her legs, and even helped soo...yeah.

do you?
Shaving legs is a personal preference, sometimes cultural.
If you need statistics may I suggest you poll lesbians, face to face so you can defend your question

I shave my legs and other stuff.
Lesbians as a group are as diverse as str8 women. Some shave, some don't. Don't generalize, it makes you look ignorant.
