I prefer them to keep their conversation to themselves. I literally hate it. We all have to listen to them yelling out loud for long periods of time. You can't get away from it.
When talking on the cell, the person should walk away from where people are at or let it go to messages. Why are these calls so URGENT that you must take them anywhere at any time. I even know people who take them to the toilet with them and talk there. Now come on that draws the line. I have others tell me that they are in the bathroom. Well I guess you don't disturb others there.
We should talk lower, keep it short, and talk only if it is urgent. Otherwise save it for when you are alone.

If you drive at all, you will witness people who are yakking and quacking on a cellphone and driving as though they are the only ones on the road. The problem comes when the person is so emotionally wrapped up in the conversation they lose all sensibility to their surroundings. And until some kind of vigorous enforcement is implemented to stop this insane compulsion, we all are at risk every time we go on the road. People call me all the time when I am on the road and I just refuse to answer it. If it is important, I will call them when I get stopped, but I don't even check to see who it is until I get stopped anyway. There is no possible scenario I can think of that would compel me to talk on the cell when I am in traffic and traveling at freeeway speeds. That is insane, but, there are those reckless individuals that have the delusion they are the most important people on the face of the earth. And they are the ones that put us all at risk. So scary!!

That's doubly irritating..the best response I've ever seen to this was a very young dude talking shite incessantly on a crowded bus in a loud voice of course..this other cat finally got sick of it and threw it out the window, rang the bell, told the 'dude' this was his stop and just sat down, the guy got off and some people cheered and applauded. AHHH Yeah!

I wished I could tune them out. Sometimes you don't want to listen but you can't help it. It's awful.

Neither. They need to respect others around them. But, it would be pretty cool if it was some Asian language (like Mandarian Chinese).
