Does any one know if this is an easy DIY job? I can change them in my car with out any probs.

it is a pretty straight forward job...if you can do a car you can do a bike....also its a perfect time to flush out the old brake fluid...make sure you use DOT4 fluid NOT DOT5....just make sure you get all the air bubbles out of the lines....(bleed the lines after you change the fluid)

If you're mechanically inclined enough to change the brake pads in a car, then changing a bike's pads is a breeze.
The calipers are right out in the open and easy to see/work on.
Just take note as to how the "retainer bracket" is installed.
It's sheet metal thin, on the top and is used to help the pads from rattling.
You can change the pads with the calipers on the bike.
