can anyone give me a website or jsut your own info on how to build a window seat in your house, thnx :]]

You need to start with a plan of what you want in the end. Build a frame (probably 2x4's) Decide if you want to use real wood or a laminate for the finished surface. Take careful measurements before cutting so it looks nice. You can use a piano hinge if you want the top to open for storage. Trim molding will hide some bad cuts. Use a good quality stain or paint for the finish.

It all depends on what you want; just a built in seat (with no storage underneath) or a seat with a flip up lid that lets you store blankets and the like in it.
Check out Norm Abram's New Yankee Workshop web site. He may have some plans of this nature on there.
