Obviously, in the aftermath of the war in Iraq we have learned we were fed a boatload.

I'd say Bush has lost all credibility.

However, do you think the people and politicians in the USA will have learned that lesson, or just start shooting from the hip again?

Also, do you think Bush has become a danger to the USA because of this?

Peace

Jim

Amendum: I'd also say, what the government claims needs to be backed up by independent credible sources.

This is a little bit more complicated than "if he said this". He would be entirely obligated to present the intelligence that led the administration to the conclusion, just like happened after 9/11.
He might lose all credibility because of the whole Iraq mess, but in another 9/11-like incident, there would be enormous pressure on the administration and intelligence community to bring to bear solid intelligence on the event, perpetrators, cause, supporters, etc.
I'm sure it would be impossible for the administration to pull another pre-Iraq and pressure the entire intel community (not to speak of the intelligence agencies of other nations) to have a certain opinion on the matter.
Though a 9/11 repeat would certainly be an enormously traumatic event for the American people, there is enough skepticism learned that questions will indeed be asked.

Is this a trick question Jim? Heck no, I would not believe he was on fire if I struck the match. Just kidding. Anyway there will always be those who will believe what they want because it is in their best interest to do so. Yes, we need independent verification of just about anything any politician tells us any more. The only good thing to come out of this is that the American people are finally waking up to the fact that these politicians and their rich friends have been taking us for a ride at our expense. I feel like shouting "wake up America" every day of my life when I see the apathy with which people treat politics, voting and their role in making a difference in the world.

I by no potential believed Bush, yet he's the small fry while in comparison with those he keeps around him. the day previous Cheney replaced into strongly encouraging Congress to resume the Patriot Act, inclusive of a much broader selection of issues the government can do to infringe on our freedom of privateness and attempting to make it everlasting. Iran is a topic, generally because of the fact of their non secular ideals and how they think of the completed worldwide ought to stick to them. yet I do ask your self precisely how a great number of achieveable they're to us. how are you able to suspect him after the Iraq disaster? how many cases can a individual cry wolf and nevertheless be believed? The undesirable element approximately crying wolf is, we will not have faith it whether that's real. i ask your self if consistently telling us that those style of worldwide places are achieveable and how the use the colour coded possibility ranges is a thank you to regulate the loads. It has happened in historic past until now. listed here are some leaders who concept they knew what replaced into best for their worldwide places and their human beings. "that's the leaders of the country who make sure the coverage and that's constantly an basic count to tug the folk alongside, whether that's a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the folk can constantly be further to the bidding of the leaders. it somewhat is effortless. All you will possibly be able to desire to do is tell them they're being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for loss of patriotism and exposing the country to possibility. it works an identical in any usa." --Reichsmarschall Hermann Goering "How fortunate for governments that persons do not think of." He would have to show me the evidence proving it. If you take a look at statements made by Dems in the 90s they believed that Saddam was a threat. it was only after they found that Bush was going to take steps against Iraq that they started to backpedal. I for one would believe Bush over any Democrat, so far i have not seen one instance where he knowingly lied to the American people. I can't say the same for the Democrats.

Yes it does start wit my vote but that is even questionable aswell. ie Bush v Algore.

Bush is a danger to the USA and all of its citizens as your credibility is shot and your name is mud in Europe. I live in Vienna but was born in New York, I used to be proud to be duel nationality but now deny this when questioned. sad really.

That's an interesting question. We know now that what we've been told is not the whole truth. If another disaster were to occur, I think more than half the country would be inclined not to believe a word of it. And this is a danger to the country.

I would hope that any additional incidents on Bush's watch would be dealt with discretion. One can only hope they've learned their lesson by now.

Yes, I would believe him. Bush is not a danger to the USA, but lies like the ones you want to hang on him are a danger.

Yes.
In Iraq, Hillary said she conducted her own research from her own sources, and came to the same conclusion as President Bush.
Would you believe her?
