my mcaffee firewall was not compatible with windows vista.

when i asked why the guy, he said there is no need to have a firewall because vista is so secure anyway. is this correct or will i need to download a firewall?

I don't know who you were talking to but YES vista needs a firewall. It comes with one which is ok but not great. If you have mcafee just upgrade it to the Vista version it will be compatible at that point.

DO RUN A FIREWALL!

Yes, I would recommend Vista with firewall, better protection.

ya mate ! it does have his own firewall ! also got IE hehe it's good blocks pop-ups ! and vista got windows defender too ! it's nice for detecting malcious n unwanted programs ! just surf well! and ya won't get infected ! cyz
