I just can't get enough of when they walk away with an extrememly low amount of money. The best joy I have in watching the show is when they knock out $1,000,000, and also the $750,000. If they knock out all the 6-figure digits except for the $1,000,000, I just pray that they knock it out and if they do, boy what an enjoyable show it is!

I mean, I still don't have it that good financially yet.
I'm 28 years old and I still don't have the money to afford that nice 8-cylinder sports car yet, so why would I want those people on the show to do well financially, it doesn't benefit me any.

Know what I mean?

i'm on the side of the contestants... up until they greed sets in. when they are offered like 200k, and start with the one more case crap, that's when i start hoping they choke. there was a big doofy white guy, no style, crap hair, knocked out most of the little amounts, given something like 311k. he did the one more case, when it was basically stupid to try for more (granted, all the big ones were still there), but what was he really gonna do? he knocked out the big ones and STILL kept going. when he walked away with five dollars, i was cheering like it was new years!!!! what a dumba55

An Army General IS a soldier. Officers are expected to be soldiers and are generally held to a higher conduct standard (UCMJ permits a criminal charge for "conduct unbecoming an officer" - doesn't exist for enlisted). You can't have it both ways and exclude them from participating because they're not low-ranking. That said, an Army General certainly doesn't need the money or glory. Better to find a really outstanding soldier or NCO that can win the whole game. I love soldiers, but that last part might be tough unless you get an intel geek on there, but who wants to see one of them win either?! :-) Frankly, I am surprised a general officer would agree to go on such a show at the expense of a soldier who could financially benefit greatly ,and who has deployed often and without the creature comforts of pampered generals. Officers go to the end of the mess line, so to speak, and I think that it bothers me that generals sometimes don't.

Though i don't find pleasure in seeing those people go home empty handed, i love the fact that howie tryies so hard to become the friend of the contestant.

He always fails miserably. What is the matter with him?!?!?

Hmmm. I must be in the minority because I love seeing the excitement when they win big. Maybe I'm just living vicareously, huh, because I'm in the same financial sitution as you are.

I'd rather see actual people win the money than have the networks rake in all the bucks---but that's just me.

i would like to see someone win the million but it's even better when the turn down like 200,000 and then they only end up with like 100
