sit down and talk to your friend and don't be afraid to ask questions to her/him. Settle things out between you guys. You guys can still be friends but you don't have to hang around her/him a lot.

People lie for different reasons and what ever the reason is wether it be for attention or to conceal something. If you have been friends for a while and you dont want to give up on them. When you cathch them in a lie, call them on it. You probably have to do it once or twice. What should happen is the person should come to the realization not to insult your intelligence with lies and go tell their tales to someone else. However if you are going to end your friendship you need to tell the person why..maybe that would change their ways

Tell them you know that they are continuosly lying to you, and if they have to be like that then you obviously dont have much of a friendship in the first place.
If they really are your friend they might try and change their ways so you can both have a decent friendship agen, but without the lieing...
Just try talking about it and if it doesnt work, your friendship isnt worth it

If she's lying to you, ask her why she feels the need to lie. Is she trying to hide something from you? Does she feel uncomfortable telling the truth? Let her know that she can trust you, and that she's free to tell you anything, and you have her back.

Get a new friend. If you can't trust them, then they are not a very good friend anyway. When they see that lying costs them their friends, they'll stop lying. Then maybe you can have them back. If not, you're better off. Good luck!

This apparently is an oximoron as a 'friend' would do no such thing. If you wish to keep this person as a 'friend' confront them directly. Otherwise, you may be better off removing yourself from his/her association.

You could not be their friend... that's about it. You can't change someone.
