There is a place in the world where at midnight, there is still daylight. Can somebody tell me where that is? I would like to visit that country and place..

can you also tell me what season it needs to be for this to be in effect?

Surely not Malta. There are places in the upper hemisphere of the world. Malta in in the middle of the mediterranean Sea.

In the U.S., Barrow, Alaska and other places have 24 hours of daylight. In Canada, Parts of Yukon have 24 hours of daylight. Some countries in Scandinavia (Sweden, Norway, Denmark) have midnight sun too.

of course it's not Malta ... Alaska, Canada, Greenland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Russia, and extremities of Iceland. A quarter of Finland's territory lies north of the Arctic Circle, and as a consequence the midnight sun can be experienced.

It's not Malta. Try northern Europe in Summer, in latitudes north of the Arctic Circle.

Norway is one, but there are many. check the link below for a good list.

North of the Arctic Circle - daylight all the time at this time of year, no daylight to speak of in the winter. Amazing place!

June mainly.

Malta is too close to the equator for that. You have to go north. Sweden IS the "land of the midnight sun"

Hi i live in Iceland and in the summer the sun just does never leave.
From June to august we have endless sun.
Its probably the best thing about Iceland !
I'm telling you.Check it out and see for your self.
Its marvellous.
Daylight is still even though the clock is 03:30 ..
And you should vistit the Westfjords because there it really shows!
Westfjords-Iceland,youll never wittness anything like that!

It's in the USA Fairbanks AK and this is the time of the month the sun never sets for about three days, You need to go up on a hill by highway I have seen this many times.
