Yep. View header and footer, and you will get a toolbar that allows you to place a page number on each page.

yes you can. at the top of any word document go to the tab that says "Insert" from there click "Page Numbers" a small box will appear with an image of a document asking if you want the numbers on the top or bottom of the page, as well as if they should be on the right or left side. this feature automatically numbers all pages of your documents.

number your pages...go to view then header and footer and their should be a mini toolbox that appears when you select header and footer. select the one that has page number and put it where you want. this should automatically number your pages for you.
