Your depression is probably showing when you go to the interviews. You need to walk in to an interview feeling as if "Why wouldn't they want to hire me?" I have also gone on several interviews recently and have been able to appear relaxed and confident in my ability to perform the tasks the position required. As it turns out many of the jobs I have been offered are not what I am looking for but I didn't know that until after I interviewed THEM. Be confident and you'll come across that way and they will then want you on their team.

Looking for a job can be very stressful, especially when things are not panning out the way you'd hoped they would. Of course you are feeling down about the situation. You can either decide to be upset about it, or you can put that energy into finding a job. I think if you continue your efforts, you'll feel like you're at least doing something to reach your goal. Perhaps you can look for jobs online, send out resumes, search your newspaper, network however you can. The more you involve yourself in this process and keep your head up, the more likely you are to get a job. And on top of that, if you have a positive attitude, your prospective employers will pick up on that. Be confident, and show them why you are the best candidate for the job (even if you don't feel that you necessarily are). Good luck!

It's very difficult when you don't get a response after investing time and emotion into interviews...but refocus your frustration into honing your interviewing skills and tightening up your resume. you might even need to consider some continuing education (perhaps even a degree if you don't' currently have one).

Some employers are open to giving you feedback about your interview. Call them and ask them if they wouldn't mind telling you what they thought your strengths and weaknesses were. Some are wary to respond, fearing lawsuits if they portray you in what might be interpreted as a discriminatory light, but most are willing to give you some feedback. Listen to it with and open mind.

Your resume should be slightly different for each job you apply to. Make sure you try to research the place your applying to. You'll want your cover letter to address the specific qualifications they're looking or and you'll want your resume to bring to the front the strengths they're looking for in a new employee.

Lastly. Be patient. It can take up to 3- 5 months to finally get a job offer. Be confident and know that as you educate yourself, hone your interviewing skills and tailor your resume that you'll be that much closer to the job you'd like.

Realize that for most jobs, there are a lot of applicants. So not getting hired after an interview doesn't say there's something wrong with you, might just be that they found someone whose background more closely meets their needs.

Learn from each interview, and carry what you learn over to the following ones.

properly before everything, it does not sound such as you may certainly manage to pay for the place of living. you haven't any longer any earnings, you extremely have adequate in decrease cost expenses to flow for some months. i might in my view say, stick it out for yet another month or 2 until you get your tax return, and be aggressive on your interest seek. do no longer place self assurance in basically one place, or interview. i'm a recruiter, and could permit you already know Florida is an exceedingly aggressive interest industry. in case you may, take a seem at some inexpensive residences. If the complicated approves you for that place of living, enable them to appreciate your concern has replaced, and you will be able to wish a smaller place. in case you may get a place for $650 a month or so, that ought to ease your financial tension somewhat. interior the recommend time, come across a non everlasting interest. verify with temp companies, they are able to frequently place you fairly rapidly. some earnings is extra advantageous than none. If this interview fails, then you definately've some earnings.

Keep at it. Finding a job is a numbers game. The more resumes you send out, the more interviews you'll have. The more interviews you have, the better your chances of getting an offer. Don't give up.

it's tough isn't it.? I usually call on my girlfriends for support. I have been on a job search non-stop and still no hits. I just keep imaging myself happy in a new job even if I don't have it yet. My Father used to always tell me ''Don't ever talk yourself out of being a winner'' so I always think of his words even when I don't get the job or if it was a job that I didn't want. There has to something out there for you and me. Keep reaching for the stars don't give up, I haven't yet. Let me know how your job search goes, good luck!
