As a black man I would like to know why is society so scared and intimidated by the black race, especially the black man, to the point where society would want to lock up most of the black men and infect alot of the black women with the HIV virus. What did we as a people ever do to any other race of people to make them hate us so much?

Have you seen the vitriol unleashed upon atheists in the R&S forums?

You brothers have got it easy by comparison....

Upon reading your question. A few things come to mind.
1. People who break the law and are arrested get locked up. Color doesn't matter. If more of one color does this consistently then those guilty people are to blame for causing a stereotype.
2. The people infecting black women with HIV are the people that don't have the decency or commons sense to wear a condom. A little protection goes a long way.
3. I know that I have had a car stolen by a gang of black guys. they punched me and stole my car. Do I think that all black people are bad. NO. But that doesn't change the fact that when I see a group of thug looking black guys, I go elsewhere. They also help perpetuate the hate.
4. If you want to blame someone, blame your own kind for keeping old hatreds and attitudes alive and well.
5, Finally. Stop your whining. If you have a problem, deal with it. I have to and so should you. I am dating a black guy who is the nicest person I have ever known. Stop putting the blame on other people and look at yourself. You are most probably a great person. Just stop blaming every problem in your life on your skin color. Stop blaming period. We all have problems, the difference is that those people that deal with them and those that don't.

well, we lock you up because you do wrong. Your women are infected with the HIV virus because of drugs or unprotected sex. This is how it goes for all races. The truth is there are more bad black men than bad white men. That sticks to you it might not be your fault but the next time you walk in to a mini mart and you have all the thugged out gangster looking black people you can't tell me you shouldn't be scared. When you walk in and see a couple white people you don't really think of it look at the way you guys dress and act like you don't give a ****. Hold a door open for someone give respect for respect.

I don't think that its hate, i think its what people have been taught, their culture, and where they grew up that makes them think that way. People think from past experience, so if something happened to them, and that person happened to be a black male, then they might feel intimidated by them. Also, because there are so many crimes that happen, you mostly see the black man on there as the criminal. People just go by what they see. But other than that, i'm not sure why. Hope i helped you.

I don't think that society is intentionally infecting black women with HIV. I think you are asking this in the wrong section. Also there are alot of persecuted and hated groups in America.

You didn't do anything. People are stupid. And just so you know, you aren't the only hated group out there. Jews have it rough. Immigrants get told to learn the language all the time, even if they already speak it fluently. Women in general are treated as objects, not as people. So if you think you've got it rough, you're not as alone as you think. People hate people because they are afraid of what is different from them. Stereotypes play a big part. Most of the white racists in this country today learned it from their parents. (I do agree that you've got it worst, though.)

They're not. The rich white man is the most hated and persecuted group in America. Rich white men get taxed 4 times what you get taxed. When you die, you get to give everything to your wife and children. When rich people die, the government takes half of everything they have. The news doesn't say "Black people cause this problem", it just shows the problems caused by people. However, global warming is directly blamed on rich people.

You're looking to blame. That's the problem. If you'd stop looking to blame and start looking for positives, you'll see the positives. There is a legacy of White priveledge in America, but it's shrinking. Right now, most racism in young people is not something they learned from their parents. It's something they learned by Black people in school, on TV and in their cities. When poor White people see that they don't have the crime problems the poor Black people have, they're going to blame it on Blackness. We've got to rise out of the ghetto, teach our children to be civilized and show them with action, instead of blaming White people.

I really don't know if the black riots and violence in 3 cities on "Juneteenth" is anything that would cause what you say. I don't know if the footage of a 101 year old woman getting punched repeatedly in the face by a black man prior to her purse being stolen, or similar footage of a black man punching a very old man in the face in an effort to steal his car. Both victims were white. Now whether these kinds of things would cause the "hatred" you describe is something for you to decide.

Well everyone doesn't hate all black males. I've been harassed by alot of black males myself from their assumptions. No race isn't hated more than the next. All races have stupidity and ignorance along with bigotry. And yes. A black man called me yankee one time. What did the yankees do again? I forget somebody remind me..........

Black people the most hated?
Not where I live...
I'm white. I'm a minority in my town, and the small bits of racism I see are directed towards me (like when I was walking up to the 7-Eleven last week and some guy shouted "White girl!")
