To tell you the truth, most Americans are ignorant and uneducated when it comes to evolution. For example, there are people here saying they believe in Creationism and Evolution. So they believe that all the species evolved form one common ancestor, or several ancestors, and they believe all species were created in their present form. Also, they call Creationism a theory when it is a hypothesis at best. About 90% of the population don't even know what a scientific theory.

Mostly just the right wing nut cases. I live in Idaho and know many republicans (they are almost all republicans here) and many do believe in evolution. However, they are constantly drowned out by the loudmouth crazies. Its exactly the same situation with muslims and those crazy ones from certain parts of the middle east. They majority is getting drowned out by the few very loud crazy ones. Hey, I just made a math equation: Right wing fundamentalist + Republicans = Fundamentalist Terrorist

It is only the right wing christian fundamentalist that deny evolution, oh yeah and probably Bush also. But you are making a very broad generalization of Republicans. As far as education, I'm sure there are an equal number of educated liberals and conservatives. Just cuz you are educated does not necessarily mean you are smart.

Well, I don't claim affiliation to any political party, but I do tend to lean quite a bit to the right. And yes, I believe that those who can't accept readily observable phenomenon like evolution because they are afraid that they might be struck down by "gawd" have some serious mental deficiencies.

I agree with some of both parties, so i really don't categorize myself as Dem or Rep, although, most of what Dems scream about ( abortion, evolution, homosexuality ) I am against.

To answer your question : NO its not just "that" part, and I hardly believe that Liberals are the only people with and education, just the only ones who feel that they are smarter than the others.

No all republicans do not belive that way, as a matter of fact many fairly fundemenatlist christians are democrats, you cant paint one half the population the US with one broad stroke, I have been a republican for almost 30 yrs and do not buy the creationism theory.

Don't generalize. There are very few things ALL republicans or ALL democrats agree with 100%. And, to answer your question, no, ALL republicans do not deny evolution.

Onlly the Board of Education of KS still denies evolution. Poor kids. No technical high paying jobs for them.

I actually believe in both. Man evolved to his present form and achieved a higher ground and enlightenment from the Lord.
