Shortly after leaving office as America's 41st President, George H.W. Bush - and several of his cabinet members - joined the Carlyle Group, headquartered in Washington, DC. Many of this firm's investors included prominent families from the Middle East, mostly Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. One family, by the name of binLaden, invested $2.5 million in the venture.
Today, the Carlyle Group is one of the U.S. government's largest contractors, serving as consultants, advisers and suppliers to the 'war' in Iraq. Imagine that! -RKO- 06/22/07

The Bin Ladens and the Bush family have been close for decades, they deal in the same issue oil . That's why when nobody else could get out of or into the US after 9/11, the Bin Ladens could order a plane to take them out of the US, they probably had previous knowledge about what brother Sam was going to do and wanted out before the backlash started.

Osama bin Laden's family has put as much distance as they can between them and Osama. They are not considered threats to US security nor do they have ties with terrorism. It wouldn't matter if Bush is in business with legitimate people.

Osama's niece even posed in FHM or Maxim in a bath tub, not exactly the behavior of a good Islamic extremist.

Prince Bandar, Osamas brother in law, and the Bush family were as thick as thieves before and after 9/11 and that tid bit its redundant tabloid news long past , question is , is blood thicker than Texas oil and if so was dubya and company duped in giving Bandar and company and family free passes out of country on the heels of 9/11 with air space shut down and presumably no one knowing who was who and what was what.?

The bush family has been wealthy for the entire 20th century. How do you think that HW was able to attend Yale? They have oil money. They are from midland, texas. does that really suprise you? Im sure if you try hard enough you could link any american billionaire with some terrorist network somewhere. that is the nature of the world economy. Just because your candidate didn't win in 2000 or 2004 doesn't make the bush's an evil family. They just have several generations of excellent business sense working for them.

They aren't.

And anybody who thinks so has to remember that the Bin Laden family's fortune did _not_ come from the oil industry. It came from construction (and not construction of anything related to oil production).
