I cant pretend I know what it is like to have a missing child, I have no knowledge.
I can say I have enough knowledge to know I never would have left my child alone in a strange land!
I can say that it seems the McCanns are hosting a media blitz, and have lost sight of the reality that they're daughter may well be dead.

i agree, they have been all over the place, spain, germany, france etc. yet now there has been 5 sightings of their daughter in Malta, they don't want to know - wtf is releasing balloons going to do???? is that what people have been donating money for? loads of balloons? how is that going to find maddie?
as for Ceasers wife, i wouldn't bother arguing with her, i have once and she said she doesn't think the McCanns did anything wrong because she sit's at the bottom of her 40yard garden while her kids are in bed with the doors unlocked! i think she must be an equally bad parent as the McCanns are, thats why she defends them!!!! - shocking!

These people have suffered the abduction of their four year old child and are trying to keep the publicity going so the story remains in the news. It is not for the McCanns to investigate anything, that is a job for the Police. The McCanns have two younger children so they're doing something productive whilst they wait for news. I have to confess their behaviour has made me feel a little uncomfortable, but who are we to condemn since we have no idea what they're going through. Where is the humanity of people who criticise, judge and condemn? Let's leave the lynching party until after Maddie is found.

I think by now everyone is aware. Not from day one have they actually looked so why should they start now? Besides, before they go to Malta they have to arrange everything so they get a superstar's welcome, just like Morocco. They didn't get there for weeks after the supposed sighting. What is the point in that? If she had been there she would have been long gone.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I thought the whole point of them collecting all that money was so that they could go and investigate sightings use this massive financial resource to bring their daughter back - leaving NO STONE UNTURNED.

not sure what purpose they serve, though if someone has to take gullible fools money and use it to decamp half the family to a beach resort in Portugal, i suppose scousers are as qualified as anyone

good point with that amount of disposable funds they should be in Malta searching everywhere.it was ok for them to visit foreign country's to raise awareness but not ok when there has been sightings from 5 different people.where are their priority's.sorry i forgot the dinner table must for tonight.

if i had a missing child i'd be concerned with every tip, every lead i got. You never know, it just might be the one. Which leads me to wonder, how are the McCann's so confident that it's not her?

I just think the term "spokeswoman" sounds so impersonal. So many people have taken this little girt to their hearts, I'm sure it would be better to say who is speaking.
