It does require a bank account but not a debit card. You get you account verified and it is very easy to send or receive payment without individuals or businesses knowing you personal or financial information.

Yes, you must have a checking number or savings number to give them to make the auto withdrawls for purchases. After you set that up you can add a credit card number though. I am not sure but i think then you can swap the accounts to make the credit card account the main account. If not you can always put one in anyway and if there is insuffienct funds in the checking or savings they will charge your card. But sometimes if they do not do this quickly, it will tell the sellar that you cannot or have not paid and they get pissed.
