I just bought a house and wanted to redo the style of one of my bathrooms. I thought this would be quite easy because it simply involved changing out a pedestal sink and faucet ... I was able to remove the basin part of the pedestal with ease but the base of the sink appears to have been thin set or grouted down to the tile.
Can anyone give me some tips as to how I can remove the sink without cracking the tile underneath?
Will I have to retile the part of the floor that the sink was set to before installing a new pedestal?
Thanks!
