Heh, that reminds me of this almost inexplicable name. From the book Freakonomics:

Then there is the recent case of Temptress, a fifteen-year-old girl whose misdeeds landed her in Albany County Family Court in New York. The judge, W. Dennis Duggan, had long taken note of the strange names borne by some offenders. One teenage boy, Amcher, had been named for the first thing his parents saw upon reaching the hospital: the sign for Albany Medical Center Hospital Emergency Room. But Duggan considered Temptress the most outrageous name he had come across.

"I sent her out of the courtroom so I could talk to her mother about why she named her daughter Temptress," the judge later recalled. "She said she was watching The Cosby Show and liked the young actress. I told her the actress's name was actually Tempestt Bledsoe. She said she found that out later, that they had misspelled the name. I asked her if she knew what 'temptress' meant, and she said she also found that out at some later point. Her daughter was charged with ungovernable behavior, which included bringing men into the home while the mother was at work. I asked the mother if she had ever thought the daughter was living out her name. Most all of this went completely over her head."

Well, names have meaning, and the Hebrews (and many others cultures) named their kids for the types of personality traits that they wanted them to have. Jezzebel, in history was an evil person, so if you care anything about that, it may not be a good fore-boding name.
But, i have come across people named Jezabel, or spelt Jessi-bel, which is ok if you dont pay attention to name meanings.

Wicked--as in you couldn't name your daughter anything worse--considering its associations!

See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jezebel_(Bible)

If you want your daughter to bless you rather than curse you, choose something else since popular culture for centuries has associated the name Jezebel (or its phonetic spelling "Jezabel") with prostitutes. Before giving your daughter this name, imagine the teasing she will have to endure in middle school. Choose a biblical name that has less negative connotations, for example, "Jubilee" or "Jessie," which means, "God is gracious."

In ancient Israel a Jubilee was a time of joy when all debts were cancelled and slaves set free.

I know the history too, but I love the ways it sounds. Maybe you can give her a middle name that redeems the first name for example:

Jezabel Renee
Jezabel Grace
Jezabel Faith
Jezabel Christina

Jezabel is an old fashioned term for a hussy, aka a ho. I can see her being teased. Jezabel is more somthing you would name a pet or a horse.

I think it is not a good idea, she will be made fun of when she gets older, Jezabel is another name for tramp. I would hate to see her go through that!

Too close to JEZEBEL. I feel that would be a bad curse put on the child for life. Check it out in the bible - OT. Think about it. What about Judith, Jacqueline (lyne), Jasmine,
Josephine, you get the picture. Names are for life.

Nope. Though not everyone will know the total history/background, most everyone associates the name with a very negative image/view.

Please don't do that to your child - kids have enough to deal with in the current world.

Jezebel is spelt like this first off.

I really like it, but would I ever use it? Absolutely not. The bible association is awful. Jezebel was a witch. Anyone who goes to church knows this, and if I were to go to church with my child, or even go to SCHOOL with kids who go to a Christian church, I would never use this. The connection is just too strong for most Christians.

What about these -bel names?

Mirabel
Annabel
Willabel
Isabel

Calla
