Oh God!! My internet connection went down, I was too stubborn to shut it down on a rainy day and at the end it got struck by lightning. Guess I can't be here for some time...and now I'm at friend's place to post this q. Omg am I really addicted....help!!....please wait for my return I'll certainly miss everyone of you....and maybe I'll try hard for a dial up....lol

You will soon have your own system in perfect order. Until then, make use of a computer of a good friend/relative. I often use a computer in a cybercafe, when I have to wait for a long time at some place, far away from my own system. Of course, at cybercafes, one has to pay some cash at the prevailing tariff rates, there. I don't know how is it, at your end.

I haven't see you around here actually. I usually answer in Social Science category, but I just had to read your announcement. It's cool to be on the computer alot, just try and balance it out with other activities. One thing is for sure: Lightening Sucks!!!

Good luck with your computer though, that sucks.
Did you have it on a power strip? That's what I do.
Good luck, get a new one soon, even if it's cheap and will last you a few years till you can get a new one.
the computer can still fry with dial-up if that's what you meant, if not sorry.
