I would like a quiet beach place...On the cheap if possible

Destin Florida is perfect for that. It is called the emerald beaches because the water is so clear and the sand is like sugar. Dont go on the Atlantic side. The water isnt as clear and they have more shark attacks. Enjoy your vacation!

On the gulf coast is a quiet little place called anna maria island. Its very nice there. Not too expencive with the old mom and pop motels but your close to bradenton and sarasota to go out and do stuff. On the east coast any beach from cocoa to northern palm beach county is great. Not too developed still lots of nature and not too expencive.

Naples on the Gulf Coast-What are you calling cheap? If you are after a villa there in July/August ring the local tourist office rather than book it through an agent-Reason?-July/August are peak months with agents but off peak in Naples as everybody goes North because it's so hot-beaches are Captiva,Sanibel absolute perfection! (IMO)

The florida keys, very laid back, relaxing and quiet beach's.
You can find inexpensive motels all along the keys.

Destin's beaches are beautiful. THe sand is super white and the water is really clear.
