I'm so happy for A-Rod. I think he has finally gotten comfortable and he feels like he is a Yankee. I just hope he can continue to play like he has. Especially at the post season.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKES, Arod is playing GREAT On bothsides of the ball, r'MEMBER last year he was just horrible at 3rd base, had so many errors, as a yankee fan my self I wanted to see Arod go because he creates a distraction in the locker room and disrupts the team's chemistry but if the yankees are going to jump back into contention, (which im positive they will), theyre going to need A-Rod

AROD is having one of the top 3 seasons in history of baseball by a righthanded hitter. He is on pace to hit about 65 home runs, and knock in 175 rbis. These are both close to records. Its even more amazing seeing that he really slowed down in may, and everyone though he was throug. But he is having an even better june

He's an MVP candidate. Spectacular and carrying the Yankees... who are enduring many slumps, some at the same time, and very-poor lineups... which is something overlooked with the Yanks. (Torre batted Arod 8th -- in an Elimination Game in the ALCS at Detroit, remember.) In fact, Kenny Rogers was made to look like Cy Young in that series vs. a lineup of 6-7 lefty-hitters, without any righty's bunched (and Gary Sheffield benched!?).

As great as Arod's been... This season, it took over a month of watching Posada hit .360 in the 7th-spot -- while Abreu, Matsui, Giambi, Mientkewicz, alternately struggled -- to put Posada behind Arod in the batting order. Otherwise, with protection earlier, Arod might even have not suffered a slowdown (due to trying too hard to compensate for Abreu/Giambi mega-slumping before and behind him.

(Torre plays guys that hurt the Yanks, many times. Like Damon now, who's slowed by injury but still starting in CF and 1B? and continuing to play Cairo and now Philips, puzzlingly, over a 1B that won a job in spring-training, and can't get into the starting lineup in Phelps.).

MVP Calibre.
He's on pace to hit 55+ HR's 130 RBI's and average in the .300's. That should get him the nod for AL MVP. But he'll blow kisses at the Yankees as he leaves the team for somewhere else when the season ends.

Although it makes me cringe to say it, but he is having an MVP season for sure. He's actually playing defense as well. I don't think he is playing this great because he is feeling comfortable as a Yankee, but more about him upping the price for his next pay check for when he becomes a free agent next year.

Awesome... Unfortunately, A-Rod's season will be a bust if he doesn't lead them to the championship. I don't agree with it, but that's how it works for him.

He's having an MVP season. I'm so happy for him, he has finally found his groove in New York. He's having an awesome season, and I couldn't be happier for him. I just hope he keeps it up.

FREAKING AMAZING!

I don't care if he's on the Yankees, you can't ignore the fact he's having a monster year. Only June? Yeah, there's still time for him to cool off, but you cannot ignore his record breaking April.
