I don't know. As long as my guys can play and win in it, I'll like it. I do hope it doesn't have a big difference in the look because I'll mostly have to get use to seeing it.

I have been a Yankee fan for over 40 YEARS and have traveled MANY times down to Yankee Stadium to see them play----you walk into that place and there is just a feeling that comes over you---you realize all the great ones who have probably walked right where YOU have walking over the decades....people who you recognize by using just their first names..... Mickey, Whitey, Roger, Yogi, Lou, Bucky, Reggie, Thurman, and Derek...to name JUST A FEW.......I always felt like Yankee Stadium was a magical place.....like you were sharing a piece of history when you were there......there will BE no "history" in the new Stadium...Oh I'm SURE it will be beautiful, it will be a jewel in the middle of the Bronx, but there will NEVER be anything like THE Yankee Stadium ----the new Stadium will no longer be "THE HOUSE THAT BABE BUILT"..... when Yankee Stadium closes to make way for the new one, a long-standing piece of New York City's history will close as well..... Oh I'm sure 50 years from now, some person will be expounding on the wonders of the "NEW Stadium" just as I am now over the old one.... but NO ONE 50 years from NOW will be able to feel the way I have felt every single time I walked through the gates of THE Yankee Stadium!!!!!

Yes, of course. It's time for new clothes, though, and new generations will have the same feelings for the stadiums they see their games in. Yankee stadium is so rich with history it's hard not to be nostalgic. Watching a game at the old Comiskey Park it was hard not to imagine that Joe Jackson played center there, that Mickey Mantle was a frequent visitor and that all the greats had been there. Only a 'troglodyte' would not care.

YES!!!! The new Yankee Stadium is going to suck. It has fewer seats than the current one and you will never again be able to call it "The House that Ruth Built" or admire how the current players are playing on the same outfield grass as Mickey Mantle or Joe DiMaggio. I think they should have played 2 years at Shea like they did when Steinbrenner first "renovated" the Stadium in 1975 and used that time to put it back the way it originally was.

Nope. I'm a Mets fan so I dont care, but I'm going to miss Shea. This passed weekend, I went to two of the Mets vs Yankees games at Yankee Stadium. What I can say is, while Yankee Stadium is a piece of baseball history, the stadium is falling apart and its defenitely time for a new one.

Yes. Also add in that with fewer seats yet more luxury boxes, it'll be so much harder to bring the family out to catch a Yankee game.

No. Society marches on.

New generations deserve the opportunities to build their own reference set of shared memories in their home yard -- although, admittedly, Yankee Stadium probably holds more GOOD memories than any other ballpark past or present. I won't miss it, but imagine many others will.

No, the old Skankee stadium is dirty and disgusting. The foundation is old and it's probably the most poorly maintained ball park in the world. The worst part about it is, you need a harness, rope, and ice picks to go to the bathroom, because climbing up those stairs, it is so steep, it's like going up Everest. If someone were to fall forward, they would probably die as they would keep falling hitting the concrete then eventually a huge drop onto the field seats below
