Hi i just posted a minute ago about im 13 and i need to get on birthcontrol because i have a hormone diffency and thats what causes my acne in order for me to get on it what will they do at the Gy?

It depends. You may have a regular woman's physical exam. It may seem a little scary if you've never had one before. You can request a female doctor, which is what I usually do. Ask your mom, an older female you trust, or the nurse or doctor to explain what they are going to do. Tell them if it's your first time. They are usually really nice and helpful!

You will have a pelvic exam automatically so you will get undressed a doctor(if he is male has to have a nurse present) (you can request your mom also if you like) you will have to lay on the table and the doctor will use an instrument similiar to a ducks mouth and insert it slightly into you only to open you up enough to check you to make sure there are no abnormal things going on. you will only feel alittle pressure not sharp pains or jabs just breath deep in and out its scary the first time but you will know what to expect for yearly check ups from then on.I ts not that bad just alittle embarrasing to have a doctor in your most private area it'll be ok.

The Gyn will not give you birth control pills. Your pediatrician will order blood work first to determine what hormones you lack and give you the right treatment.
Birth control pill is a hormone pill but it works differently than what you think.
You may get injections instead, but it won't be birth control.
