It can be a play, a free-agent signing, a super bowl win...whatever makes you happy. Just tell me what the moment was and why it was special for you.

The Colts comeback was amazing.

Has to be a top 3 for me, too.

sgoldperson,

Your memory of that Colts/Steelers divisional game is as good as mine. (Nick Harper's wife cut his knees up with a kitchen knife.) I remember the Bettis fumble, the Harper run, Big Ben's tackle...and Vanderjagt's miss.

While that might have been your favorite moment as a Steeler's fan...as a Colts fan, I pretty much hate you for allowing me to relive my least favorite moment in NFL history.

Great answer. Wrong question.

One that is usually overlooked was the Colts comeback against the Tampa Bay Bucs on monday night football in 2003. In less than 4 minutes the Colts overcame a 3 touchdown deficit to send the game into overtime and eventually win it with a field goal. Probably the most exciting final 4 minutes I've ever seen.

Steelers/Colts game was the real Superbowl that year. Heck go down to one of the best endings when the Steelers ALMOST got Manning down for the Safety. Instead he was falling at the one with the turnover. Handing it to Bettis and the shock of the fumble, then Nick Harper with two bad knees running off with it(remember his wife/girlfriend whatever she was sliced the one and he hurt the other in the game) then Big Ben who for some odd reason had started going backwards after the handoff got the tackle. When I saw Harper going off with it like that I was about ready to cry thinking it was probably over. Thinking well at least we will have a little time left to try and get the TD back. Never thought he would be caught though. Although I'm going by the plays I watched because honestly they just mean more.

Hey diamond you jealous much? If I remember correctly Ben didn't do that bad in that Title game being a ROOKIE playing the Pats who then added yet another Superbowl title. Hell he looked TERRIBLE against the Jets if you want to bring up bad playoff games. Oh can't mention that though because he admitted he did everything he could to lose that game.

The greatest comeback in NFL history...

Buffalo 41, Houston 38 (OT) - January 3, 1993 at Rich Stadium

QB Frank Reich started for an injured Jim Kelly and brought Buffalo back from a 32-point 3rd quarter deficit in the AFC Wild Card Playoff to record the greatest comeback in NFL history. Four of the Bills' 5 TDs came on Reich passes (3 to WR Andre Reed) and K Steve Christie kicked the 32-yard winning FG in OT.

The 1995 season (January 1996) AFC conference championship game. Randy Fuller knocks down a desperation pass by the Colts as time expires to sent my beloved Steelers to their first super bowl that I can remember them being in (I was born in 1975, too young to remember the 70's Steeler super bowls).

When the idiot fan picked up the ball after a TD and ran down field. Mike Curtis the Colts linebacker delivered the best hit I've ever seen on this fool. He looked like he exploded.

The Titans coming up ONE yard short of the winning TD on the last play of the game in the Super Bowl. The drive was among the best 2-minute drills I've ever witnessed, yet to come up three feet short of a victory...ouch. Thought that was more exciting than 'Norwood....wide left!!'

Colts interception against golden boy Tom Brady in the final seconds of the 4th quarter of the AFC Championship in 2006. It litterally brought tears of joy to my eyes. Oh, and don't blame the flu Pats fans.

It was on Feburary 3rd, 2002, it was Superbowl XXXVI and it was the Patriots Vs. Rams. The game was tied up 17-17 and Adam Vinatieri kick a 48 yard field goal as time expired. It was special to me due to the fact the Patriots won their first Superbowl. They were the worst team in the NFL in 2001 ever since Tom Brady step in I felt like we were going to win again and the Pats couldn't of done it without Tom Brady.

Watching Chuck Noll hand the Lombardi Trophy to Art Rooney Sr. after the Steelers won their first SB. A proud moment for a proud man.
