I see those that have a much harder way of living.
And makes my problems seem trival in comparison.

I have friends. I have Family. I have my health.

Others are left with not much of anything to believe in.
And their choices are few.

Do you ever feel so caught up in your problems. That you think that you can't get through `em? Stop and think of others that you know.

God Bless America!

And all of my friends on Y!A

Isn't it strange how we sometimes leap over our large problems to worry and stress over the small things?

I was born with a deformed right ear, one foot almost two inches shorter than the other, only one functioning kidney, and myraid other medical problems, but while I've always known I was different, seldom do I let it get me down. Oh, in school I never wore my hair up, and I avoided telling people why I was allowed to go to the bathroom during class while they had to wait, but while I know I'm different, I also realize that EVERYONE is different.

But here I stress about the little things in life: Will I get my promotion at work, this past week I was down because it was a very finacially short week and I forgot to figure new socks and a movie the kids have been wanting into the budget. There are several things around the house that need to be repaired, but we can't seem to get the time, energy and money all together at once to do it. I've been known to have to take a step back, a deep breath, and remember what are the importnant things, and to be grateful for what I have. I think it is human nature to sometimes not be able to see past the end of our own noses, and to smack our hands on our foreheads instead of using our hands to reach out to others. It's also built into our nature (we thinking beings that we are) to realize when we are doing this, so we try to rectify the situation, only to get caught back up in our own problems again at one time or another.

I do think this sometimes. Maybe years ago I allowed myself to feel caught up in problems. Not anymore. I believe that all things that are bad will come to pass.

There for the Grace of God Go I.

God Bless you too man!

Recently my husband went to PA for a work function, he was gone 3 days. I missed him alot, had no one to talk to, and felt alone. Because we live in a small town, where I don't know anyone, and had no transportation..I was shut in and feeling sorry for myself. I then realized.. " Hey dinkface, he is at a hotel in PA, having wine, and talking about computer parts, It's not like he is in Iraq and you may never see him again! Hey Dumbbutt, how do you think those wives feel, when they're husbands are deployed, especially the ones with children..sitting and waiting and wondering" So yes, I am guilty of feeling sorry for myself, but at least I kicked my own butt and learned a better way of thinking.!

Well, aren't you sweet Buzz,,,thank you..I have almost always found that no matter what I think my problems are, in a matter of no time, I can talk to someone who has it worse...But, I will say By the Grace of God I grew into adulthood, we did some really crazy things looking back..

Buzz - are you reading my mind. I just read through the list of answers to Billy's question and I was almost in tears. I try to always remember that even though my problems seem huge, there is always someone out there worse off.

On a lighter note: My mom's name is Grace, so that saying has always been an important one in my family. :)
