Oh, the doggie of course! I hate to see animals suffer. I'd try to save the poor pup even without the cash offer.
The preacher can let his god save hm.

Wow this is a hard choice... The preacher could change after the fire and be greatful that I saved his sorry *** And the pitbull would just go about his life.. But I'm a big animal lover so th epiitbull. And to the person that said pitbulls are dangerous, they're only dangerous if you train them to b. My aunt has 1 and shes the nicest thing you'd ever meet the dog plays with my little 7 pound Yorkie.

I think I'd take the preacher. He may be a jerk or a homophobe, but he is still a human. I would feel bad for not saving the pitbull, but it is just a dog. A human life is worth much more than a dog. And just so you know, I'd throw the $3 million into the fire.

I would snatch the bible fom the preacher. And with one fluid motion I would smack the pitbull in the side of the head with the bible and put the bible back in the preachers hands. Then I would walk out while the pitbull ate the preacher and the house burned.
EDIT: It is strange to me that so many people would save the dog or do nothing. This seems to be a statement to the bible thumpers to keep their religion to themselves. Most people, those who have a religion and those who don't, aren't interested in people who try to push their form of religion on them.

I need the money, not for myself, but my family and some friends I know who have it hard, so I can't walk away from that offer. I would save the pitbull, because all bible-thumping preachers already consider themselves "saved" and so he wouldn't need my help, but the pitbull would.

I'd have the preacher carry the pitbull and I'd carry the preacher so in reality I'd be saving both! And I wouldnt take the money... life isnt about money... its about every moment that leaves you completely breathless, its about the moment you graduate, the moment your kids are born, the moment you fall in love, the moment you get married etc.

Pit bulls are precious, sweet dogs (unless you corrupt them and train them to be bad). I've known several lovely pit bulls. I haven't ever met a bbhfnmbw preacher that I would rescue from flood rains wrought upon him by a vengeful but just God. So, I would have to say the dog .. Maybe God will save the preacher?

The preacher.
1. Human life before animal life.
2. I am scared of dogs.
3. Maybe this is Gods way to turn this mans heart.

This is a question spouses ask each other. "If the house were on fire and you could save only me or the child, which one would you choose?" The assumption is that they are in different parts of the house and the adult can't carry the child. The choice is obvious, you save the child, the youngest and more helpless of the two. In your example, you save the human being, no matter how violently you disagree with his religious beliefs. Animals deserve love and respect, but when it comes to choice, people come first in my opinion.
