I agree. It was so horrible. There was no plot, and Tim Curry, well he was being Tim Curry.

I've been watching the Rocky Horror Picture show since it first came out in theaters, and well before people started bringing props along with them! In New York City you could catch it at most theaters but then it became a cult classic and was only shown at midnight in certain theaters. I've never known any movie house it was showing in to be filled to less than capacity! The props evolved through the years as well and made it more fun then ever. Tim Curry should go down in movie history as having the ability of portraying an absolutely believable trans-sexual with every nuance covered, or uncovered, beautifully. I also had the pleasure of seeing The Rockly Horror Show on Broadway with the original cast. I had my trepidations as to who could fill Curry's shoes as Dr. Frank N .Furter, but I was gigantically suprised that anyone could and did!

No - Rocky Horror is a cult classic - it has its own artistic merit intrinsic of the 70's.
The worst movie I have seen is Plan 9 form outer space. It is so bad it also became a cult classic
The worst I have seen that will never become a classic was Spawn
However, the worst movie ever made apparently was given to Attack of the killer tomatoes.

I love the Rocky Horror Picture Show, but if you're watching it on television, you're missing a big part of what makes it so great. I didn't like it until I saw it in a theater with the crowd and ad-libs and popcorn / water throwing. It's the theater experience that made it so great for me. In answer to the second part of your question, the worst movie I've ever seen, by far, is Welcome Home, Roxy Carmichael (with Winona Ryder)

Yeah, it is really stupid. Although it was kind of fascinating to see Tim Curry as a sweet transvestite from transexual transylvania! LOL! Just kidding! From Justin to Kelley is pretty bad too. And Down with Love and Jawbreakers and all those crappy movies that play on the scifi channel!

I agree it's not very good. There are other cult movies that are better and deserve the kind of acclaim that "Rocky Horror" has inexplicably been showered with. (My vote: "Forbidden Zone")

You obviously haven't seen James Caan in "Gone With The West". It's so bad, it's not even funny!
