and what can u do in such a situation where they keep sending hints that u are unwanted? how can u make them love u?

I am currently visiting my in-laws who say I am supposed to treat them as family, but won't allow me any place in their family...go figure.
You can't make them love you....you will always be an outsider.
Just think that your place is up on the top shelf in the farthest corner and stay out of their way...it's their home....until they come to YOUR home.
Then you can put THEM on the top shelf.

oh honey, no you can't.... I was in a similar situation and my boyfriend who I otherwise would have married would NOT stick up for me when it came to his family. They continually excluded me, and I got fed up. You are in another situation as you are already married. I say talk to your spouse and let him know how much it is hurting you. Then I suggest going to the inlaws and invite mom-in-law for a girls day out, lunch or something. even if she says no, even if it sucks, try to get to know her, even if you don't want to. What does she like? What is she into? Research! Charm the pants off her! I've found that people LOVE to complain. LET HER. Ask a question that will set her off on the biggest rant and then just listen. As for father in laws, well, I've never had male figures to deal with, that's trickier. Deal with mom first, and by default you'll get dad ;-) best of luck sweetheart.

Well not really but how is your husband action regarding this situation? I would suggest you have a one-to-one talk about it with your mother-in-law (if you think this is safe). Typically if she is on board with you then your father-in-law will come along too.

Girl I am trying to figure that out now. My in-laws hate me!!! they are constanly trying to break me and my fiance' up. They try play us against each other. I kiss these people ass and have for 5 years and it still doesn't work. So honey if you find a good answer to that question forward it to me to. LOL

In-laws suck! You just have to quit worrying about what they think. As long as you're happy they aren't. When they try making you fell unwelcome just be as friendly as possible and pretend it doesn't bother you a bit. Eventually, they'll see that you're going nowhere and they'll accept you. Just make sure that they see how happy you make your spouse.

you know what ?,that is their problem not yours and if they dont care for you ,who cares . My mother in law was a nasty person from the time I met her and I dont care anymore . You cant make them love you or care for you . Dont waste your time ,they obviously are not worth it . good luck .
